«Yulia is only 8 years old... She still believes in Saint Nicholas and the Tooth Fairy, and in On New Year's, she wrote a letter to Santa Claus and asked him for a new healthy heart. 

Her diagnosis — Dilated cardiomyopathy — sounds like a death sentence. Her heart barely fits in her small chest. And within a few steps, she begins to feel short of breath, dizzy, and  a debilitating cardiac cough. She has no other chance at life, only a heart transplant. Her heart gradually swells like a balloon, the walls thin out, and it will eventually burst.

Yulechka was born healthy and very beautiful, with thick, light-brown, long hair, and large eyes with fluffy eyelashes. Mom's joy, pride, and hope. Her life turned upside down after her second scheduled DPT vaccination. A high fever developed, which nothing could bring down. And then  began endless hospital visits, incorrect diagnoses, and unfounded prescriptions that only worsened the child's condition. Doctors tried to avoid the overly persistent and anxious mother or simply «kicked her off» to other hospitals...
And the little girl grew worse and worse, she stopped eating and began losing weight rapidly... The mother got her way, and the girl was examined.
\nAn echocardiogram showed that in the nine-month-old's chest, the heart of a five-year-old was barely beating.

Then the condition was stabilized and the disease was kept under control for 7 years. Hope arose for A miracle! But After bronchitis in 2014 her condition began a gradual and inexorable deterioration. The capital's doctors from the Amosov Institute merely shrugged their shoulders and, averting their eyes, said that in Ukraine doesn't perform such operations, and if the operation isn't performed, the girl is doomed. The closest neighbors where a pediatric heart transplant is possible are — Belarus. And doctors at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Surgery are ready to operate on Yulia. But the road to a full life costs  103 thousands of dollars.

Yulia often looks out the window when the neighbors' children are playing there and dreams of making friends and playing with them, but for now, her illness condemns her to loneliness. Her friends are her mother, her one-year-old brother, and the medical staff of the cardiology department.
\nShe's only 8 years old... She's already 8 years old... She believes in Santa Claus, and her mother believes that people will help save her daughter's life. But we must hurry. Yulia's heart — is a battery with very little charge left...

A curious trusting girl, naive... and such adult in some moments. Such children grow up quickly, they know the value of life... When she was three years she said: «Mom, I I have such a big heart, because I love everyone », and I barely held back tears. And recently asked: «If I am reborn — I will live for a long time ?» I asked her «Yulechkardid you with me bad?» She answered "Okay... but so I want to for a long time ..."
