Angelina's mother, Natalia, wrote us a letter in which she talks about their treatment attempts in Israel:

Thanks to the help of people from all over the world, in July 2012 we were able to travel to Israel. In the period from 1 to 17 June 2012  were undergoing examination in Israel, at Ichilov Clinics ( (Neurosurgery and Neurology) and Asaf Harofeh (Orthopedics).

We had an MRI of the brain and had consultations with an ophthalmologist, a neurologist, a neurosurgeon, a gastroenterologist, and an orthopedist. We had an EEG and X-rays of the hips, knees, and feet. It turned out that Israeli doctors had never encountered such a severe case   in their practice. We have already been diagnosed with hydroencephaly.

The doctors didn't take responsibility and operate on Angelina. — But if the cyst does grow, then  we will lose the baby. After all, the cyst causes epileptic seizures, and with each seizure kills nerve cells. The neurologist prescribed the antiepileptic drug Kepra. According to the ophthalmology report, things are very bad; Angelina's vision has deteriorated even further, and she has very poor vision. According to orthopedics, the diagnosis of arthrogryposis has been removed. Congenital hip and knee dislocations are present, as well as foot deformities. Leg problems are solvable, but these require complex, multi-stage surgeries. Given our complex situation with  neurological status ( (seizures), their operation has been postponed to a later date.

At currently, one of the main tasks — is to resolve the problems with seizures and the cyst, otherwise we will never undertake surgeries on her legs and the child will remain confined to bed. After all, at two years old, Angelinka cannot hold her head up properly, sit, or walk. The antiepileptic medication prescribed in Israel hasn't improved her condition, on the contrary, has worsened. The seizures are countless; they're endless. This condition is preventing our daughter from developing, and the cyst poses a serious threat to her life.

Upon our returning from Israel, we again sought help from other clinics around the world that specialize in such difficult children and where they could help us solve the problems with seizures and the cyst. All documents, disks with  MRI, EEG, and leg X-rays were sent for review to the Hopkins Clinic (America, Baltimore), to three clinics in Germany, to Munich, and to Vienna. As of we are currently ready to receive treatment and help our daughter in Germany — Schoen Clinic, Vogtareuth. If it is confirmed that the cyst is growing, then German doctors agree to operate and perform endoscopic surgery.

The clinic has billed the family amount of 63 481 euro. This price includes inpatient treatment for  days, all necessary examinations, and interpreter services. Since the girl's case is very serious, 41  her attending physician is a professor, and if it turns out during examinations that the child needs surgery (until the cost of the surgery has been paid to then he and will perform it on the brain.
