WORLD CANCER DAY CHILD

15 February

The Oncohematology Department of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital is under quarantine, but we decided that this wouldn't stop us from bringing a little joy to our little patients.

Gifts from the promotion #PROSTODOBRO find their new owners.

15 February – a day when adults need to take a break from their daily routine and realize that the phrase «child with cancer» – is a reality.… There are such children all over the world. They live in the oncohematology department, cut off from home and their usual activities,
from fun times with friends, as treatment for the disease takes a long time and prevents them from being as active as before...

For varying periods of time, the hospital walls become home for these children. Their reality is now – an endless series of pain and frightening procedures.

However, 15 February – this is not a day of despair. It is a day of HOPE! Childhood cancer is treatable! Yes, undoubtedly, the availability of high-quality modern diagnostics, as well as timely and appropriate treatment, greatly impacts a positive outcome.

Everyone can help make a difference and support a child with cancer.

What can you do? – A LOT:

1) donate blood, – often, the availability of donor blood becomes the deciding factor in the fight for the life of a child with cancer;

2) participate in creative activities, games, and events with children in the oncohematology department of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital;

3) provide financial support to a child with cancer and their family, as cancer treatments require expensive medications;

4) participate in the Charity Foundation's initiatives and projects «Little Bee» by helping to purchase the necessary equipment for its departments.

Such children exist! There are many of them right now...
And only we can make these children's lives a little better!

Doing good is easy — Join us too!
Sincerely, the Charity Foundation team "Little Bee".
