In March of this year, the leadership of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs and the online restaurant Smilefood launched an initiative to organize meals for healthcare workers. Since 27 March, in coordination with the anti-crisis headquarters “Odesa vs. COVID” in the Odesa region, Smilefood delivered the first batch of meals to the Odesa City Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital at its own expense. The online restaurant Smilefood then expanded its meal support program to the infectious diseases department of the Chornomorskaya City Hospital.

Smilefood realized that it was impossible to carry out large-scale deliveries alone as healthcare workers at all the frontlines involved in the fight against COVID-19 require constant food.19.

Representatives of this company called our foundation with a proposal to join forces. Here's what they said:

"We are launching a social initiative “Take care of healthcare workers' meals”. Currently, Smilefood provides meals to about 100 healthcare workers. Since the launch of the social initiative, more than 1000 complex meals have been delivered to healthcare workers. We started feeding them ourselves, but we were informed that the number of support centers and the number of healthcare workers on shifts are planned to increase, and everyone needs to be provided with meals.

We are concerned that we will not be able to handle large volumes of deliveries ourselves. We are contacting you with a request to consider a joint project. We are looking for a foundation that can accept donations for food for doctors' meals. We already have some caring people willing to donate. Many media outlets responded and reported on the launch of this initiative.

I would be glad and grateful for a response.".

Without hesitation, we agreed to support this project!

To date, with the support of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs — SUP, employees of the COVID-19 response center -19 at the Odessa City Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital and the infectious diseases department of the Chornomorskaya City Hospital have already been provided with comprehensive meals.

Companies "May Tea" and "CURTIS" have also stepped up and supported the project.

So far, only "Little Bee" . But this is just the beginning, and we call on everyone to unite and contribute to this common cause. 500 UAH has been deposited into the charity's account
