Odesa will plant a "Alley of Life"!

On Wednesday, 17 April, transplant patients will plant trees in Mykhailivskyi Square (Kosvennaya Street, 20), creating a «Alley Life».

The alley symbolizes the birth of new life, made possible by human sacrifice. Ukrainians who are already living with donor organs want to honor and thank those who have been their salvation.

The event will be held at the initiative of the NGO «National Movement «For Transplantation» and the Charitable Foundation «Little Bee», with the support of the KP «Gorzelentrest», the Advertising Agency «Beaumonde» and Alexander Sheremet.

Similar events are held in all countries around the world where transplantation is well-established. Last year,  «Alley of Life» also appeared in Moldova, where European Organ Donor Day was celebrated. Many clinics around the world also have memorial walls where the name of each person who donated after death is inscribed. This is how society expresses gratitude for the life saved. The first memorial events have already taken place in Kyiv and Mykolaiv, where «Alleys of Life».
