SONOCA 300 — A device that covers all areas of surgical ultrasound applications. The ultrasonic surgical device is designed for all types of surgical interventions, including ultrasonic cutting, ultrasonic coagulation (ultrasonic scalpel), ultrasonic dissection, and wound treatment. This allows for minimal blood loss and damage to healthy tissue. The regional children's hospital does not have this equipment. It was crucial to replace the outdated scalpel with gentle surgical interventions using ultrasound!
The initial cost of this equipment was 64 401 €.
A year ago, an employee of the charitable foundation «Little Bee» Daria Chefan wrote a project for the German Foundation «Ein Herz fur Kinder» to purchase a SONOCA ultrasonic dissector 300. We were awarded a grant of 20 000 €.
We started a fundraiser for a SONOCA ultrasonic scalpel 300, but the funds were not collected as much as needed. We also negotiated a discount on equipment from the supplier, which amounted to 17 000 €.
At the end of 2017 we turned to Anna Pavlova, Head of Charity Programs at PJSC KB "PRIVATBANK", for help. She immediately got to the bottom of the problem and promptly responded to our request to pay the remaining amount of 950 000 UAH on behalf of the Charitable Foundation "Just Help" PrivatBank.
