On September 1st, every child from UWC No. 13 Comprehensive School-Gymnasium took part in a charity event: "September 1st — without flowers".
During this event, the Charitable Foundation "Little Bee" transferred 41000 UAH!!! For the repair of a COM.TEC blood cell separator in the blood transfusion department of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital for the treatment of children with cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and children in intensive care. The COM.TEC separator is designed to produce high-quality blood products (platelets, stem cells, plasma).
The remaining amount was donated by a friend of the foundation and philanthropist Vladimir Babilunga.
We were able to negotiate a discount with the suppliers, and the drum repair cost not 96 643,20 UAH, but 92673,65 UAH.
And the difference is 4438,35 UAH. The donation will go toward purchasing consumables: gloves, masks, shoe covers, syringes, etc., for the oncohematology and blood transfusion departments of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.
A huge thank you from the foundation's staff, seriously ill children, their parents, and doctors at the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital to Natalya Anatolyevna Romanenko, Director of the Educational Clinical Hospital No. 13 of the Comprehensive School-Gymnasium; Tatyana Stanislavovna Smirnova and Anna Aleksandrovna Prokopenko, Deputy Directors for Educational and Training Work; the organizing teachers, teachers, parents, and children!
