Today marks exactly 10 years since the Tishkov family's life was divided into "Before" and "After". Exactly 10 years ago, 1 April 2011 five deranged thugs brutally beat their son Pavel. The twenty-three-year-old, who had his own plans for life, was nearly killed just a block from his home. Pavel's life was saved by a police major who was returning home from work and literally grabbed the arm of the drunken bastard who was jumping all over Pavel. Seeing the resistance and the arrival of help, the thugs scattered.
21 day, after two complex surgeries, Pavel was in intensive care in a coma. The injuries were so severe that doctors gave him no chance of survival. But the parents believed and hoped that their Pasha would survive. Little brother Yegor, who was only seven years old at the time, couldn't understand what had happened. Why had his parents stopped paying him enough attention? Why were his mom and dad constantly crying? And where had his beloved older brother disappeared to? At some point, Yegor's parents had to seek help from a psychologist.
For ten years 24 hours 7 days a week, his parents lived in the hope of making Pavel's life easier. Daily, hours-long procedures and physical activity, as well as numerous expensive medications, special nutrition, personal hygiene products, and consultations with various doctors, practically fell on his parents' shoulders. Pavel's mother receives 200 UAH per month for caring for a disabled person of Group A I. Donations to the account Charity Fund "Little Bee" for Pavel have become less and less frequent.
The day before yesterday, we received a letter from Sergey Sergeyevich, Pavel's father: "There's not much news. 10 We've been working for years, but the results are insignificant. Financial support comes when we see results, but in our situation, it's very difficult to show anything positive. We're stuck in the same situation. People who help want to see progress. In our situation, unfortunately, for someone who doesn't see him regularly, he won't be able to see and understand the improvements in his condition. We were at a rehabilitation center this summer and paid 30000 UAH. per month, this year it will already be 45000 UAH. We take care of ourselves at home, only a caregiver helps.".
Rehabilitation for Pavel is also a huge help for his parents. It's impossible to live in this hell without adequate sleep and rest. 10 years. It's impossible to see your child suffer for 10 years and not be able to help. – You can go crazy from extreme fatigue and emotional burnout.
