Dear friends! For many years, one of the fundraising sources for help for seriously ill children has been the children's entertainment and educational magazine «Little Bee», on the basis of which a charitable foundation was created in year and 2008 .
We have written several times about that those children who read our magazine help seriously ill children recover. This is truly true. «Little Bee» — is the only children's entertainment and educational magazine that spends all its profits from sales on charity: gifts for children in the oncohematology department, free magazines for children from orphanages, assistance in emergencies, and etc. Thus, in this month, with funds received from sales of the magazine, three printers were purchased for a total of 8 222 UAH. And 9 in October, three Odessa schools classes with № 60, № 62 and № 71 were transferred to inclusive education.
In Odessa's first inclusive class was opened in 2014 at school № 60. In 2015 similar classes were opened in two other schools — № 62 and № 71 . In these classes, children with autism, mental delays, and Down syndrome are taught together with healthy children. The creation of such classes is necessary because a person's character and way of thinking are formed in early childhood, and is a step toward building a tolerant society in which people with disabilities will be equal members.
