Neurosurgical Department — a department that we want and need to help! The department, headed by Sergey Goryshchak, first and foremost — a PERSON who cares about the fate of children, undergoing treatment in this department, and then a candidate of medical sciences, a highly qualified neurosurgeon, head of the neurosurgery department, and regional pediatric neurosurgeon of the Odesa Regional State Administration.
Thanks to the significant resonance in the city of Odessa (and far beyond its borders), the help of TV channels (in coverage of the ongoing renovations), the responsiveness of friends, patients' parents, investors, companies, charities, and simply people who care about the health of our children, it became possible and is being brought to life a project: renovation of the neurosurgery department of the regional children's clinical hospital.
Much has already been done, much remains to be done, but a certain «horizon is already visible».
From done in the neurosurgery department:
1. Complete replacement of water supply and sewage pipes.
2. Installation of metal-plastic entrance doors With card access to department
3. Old floors in the corridor and some wards and rooms were dismantled, as well as lining was removed from department walls
4. New floors were installed, walls were prepared for subsequent finishing
5. Disinfestation and deratization were performed
6. Complete electrical rewiring was carried out in the entire department With installation of new panels with automatic machines (in process)
7. A post-treatment water filter has been installed for staff, patients, and their parents
At currently in process:
1. Installation of drywall walls (which gives the project some shape)
2. In each ward, tiling of the area is underway apron at the washbasin, with subsequent installation of new plumbing and cabinets
Planned to do:
1. All door banners in the department will be upgraded to metal-plastic
2. Installation of bactericidal recirculators (purchased by the BF «Little Bee»)
3. Purchase of an air conditioner for the post-operative ward
4. Installation In the postoperative ward, medical consoles
5. Laying tiles in the department hallway
6. Purchase and installation of LED lighting in the entire department
7. Installation of suspended ceilings in the entire department
8. Design development and production of the reception area at the post and hall Departments
9. Production of individual medical cabinets
10. Installation of backup lamps in case of emergency power outages
11. Purchase of a water storage tank for 200 liters
12. Installation of functional beds in the postoperative ward (purchased by the Charitable Foundation «Little Bee»)
13. Due to constant demolition, construction and other waste accumulates, so the agenda item, in the issue of removal will soon be on the agenda garbage
