5 International Volunteer Day is celebrated around the world on December 15.

How many people 10 years ago knew and understood who volunteers were, what they do, and how much they mean to society? Few thought about it.

However, the modern world has placed us all in a situation where kindness and responsiveness, charity, and volunteerism have become the hope for life and salvation for many inhabitants of our planet: for people, animals, plants, and for all living things in general.

Volunteers have shouldered all the problems facing modern society.

Civic concern, combined with a resolute willingness to help in all areas where assistance is needed, are the defining characteristics of the Ukrainian volunteer. Your humanity, your patriotism, your selfless and voluntary work make our Ukraine stronger.
