In January 2011 we installed an aquarium with toys in the treatment room of the oncohematology department of the Odessa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. Children choose them as prizes for their courage after painful injections, punctures, and procedures. This small symbolic prize is one of the few things that helps maintain children's fighting spirit, faith in themselves, and the future!
And today we replenished our aquarium with unusual gifts. Sometimes children can be delighted with sweet treats. In the future, we will alternate them, agreeing on the permitted foods with the children in advance. Specialists.
Sometimes friends and acquaintances donate their children's toys, as children quickly outgrow them and toys no longer hold interest. We accept toys ONLY in excellent condition. Ideally, replenishing the aquarium with new toys is ideal, but this isn't always possible. Please carefully read which toys will bring joy to a seriously ill child:
1. The toy must not be broken or worn to the point of holes.
2. If these are Kinder Surprise toys, only solid figures are required. Before placing the toys in the aquarium, they are sanitized, so parts in toys consisting of several parts are lost.
