Winter isn't even over yet, and we're already planning our Ukrainian children's team's trip to the Summer World Children's «Winners' Games2018». They will be held in Moscow at the CSKA Stadium in early August 2018 of this year.
We're putting together a team of 20 Ukrainian children.
As of today, 20 participants (including 8 Odessa residents) need help paying for the trip.
World Children's «Winners' Games -2018» — the largest sporting competition for children who have survived cancer. The «Winners' Games» includes competitions in track and field, swimming, table tennis, shooting, chess, and football in three age groups: 7–9 years, 10–13 years, and 14–16 years.
This year, the «Give Life» foundation will host the World Children's «Winners' Games» for the ninth time. Last year, more than 500 children from 17 countries came to this most important competition for children who have survived cancer!
There is no fee to participate in the Games. Accommodation, meals, and transfers from the airport or train station to the Games venue and back are provided by the organizers. Participants are responsible only for their own travel to and from Moscow.
Travel to Moscow and back is covered by the foundation «Little Bee» and the initiative group «Dar Yangola». A round-trip train ticket to Moscow currently costs 6 080 UAH. We are forced to rely on compartments, as our team includes children who have recently completed treatment. Each child travels with an accompanying parent, meaning the amount of 6080 UAH is doubled.
6 080 UAH x 40 = 243 200 UAH.
At the Winners' Games, real sets of awards are up for grabs, but there are no losers, because every participant in the Games is – WINNER! We ask all of you to help pay for tickets and give children an unforgettable experience and celebration.
