Almost since its inception, our foundation has been supporting the Oncohematology Department of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital — by purchasing medications, consumables, cleaning products, household goods, and medical equipment. Hygiene is of great importance in the recovery process of hospital patients. They take a very strict approach to this issue, given the specific nature of children's illnesses and their complete lack of immunity. Auxiliary items such as rags, mops, washing machines, faucets, and dryers — are by no means a luxury, but a essential condition for successful treatment.
So, in July 2015 to improve conditions in the oncohematology department, our foundation purchased a sensor-controlled sink faucet for amounting to 18455,60 a treatment room, a shower tray for the bathroom, a washing machine, and automatic hand dryers. We also purchased cleaning mops, which, thanks to their unique microfiber structure, collect and retain dust, dirt, and allergens better than traditional cleaning products used during cleaning.
