The "Handful of Goodness" campaign continues!

26 October

Friends! Thank you to everyone who is participating in the campaign "A Handful of Kindness"organized by Charitable Foundation "Little Bee". We are continuing our collection. If you haven't had a chance to join our campaign yet, please join this great cause.

Campaign Goal:
• Collection and donation of recyclable materials, namely various plastic bottle caps (from drinks, vegetable oil, dairy products, detergents, etc.) to help seriously ill children undergoing treatment at the Odessa Regional Clinical Hospital (Akademika Vorobyova St., 3);
• Promotion of the idea of charity;
• Raising awareness of volunteer activities among children and adults;
• Ecology and environmental protection - now many homes, schools, banks, restaurants, cafes, and even hospitals donate bottle caps to Pchelka instead of throwing them in the trash.

Huge Thanks Tatyana Chubina (Tatyana Chubina) for the tip :) and Serge Kravetz for the post from 20 December 2016. Thanks to your help, we've started a great, kind, but at the same time organizationally complex, project!

We almost abandoned this project (no one in Odessa wanted to buy bottle caps from us at reasonable prices), and thank you for your help. Kate ZhookEvgeniya AratovskayaNataliya Tarasova. Thanks to your prompt action, we resolved all pricing issues in one day, and our bottle caps are already on their way to Kyiv for recycling. We loaded a full truck, and there was still some left over—some left in the warehouse. By the end of the week, we'll receive the money and a note indicating what's not suitable for recycling and what will be accepted.

Since the start of the campaign «A Handful of Good», which began 25 March 2017 of this year, we have already collected and donated 6500 kg of plastic bottle caps, receiving in exchange 45479 UAH + 2580 UAH. We promise to pay EcoMir next week.

Tomorrow, Natalia Tarasova, Director of the Charity Fund «Charitable Foundation «Lelekera» will announce the number of tons she has collected from the warehouse and will transfer the money to the fund's bank account by the end of the week.

Thank you for your roadside assistance Anna MikhaylevskayaNikolai Kovalenko (Nikolai Kovalenko). Thank you Olga Voloshyk for your help collecting bottle caps and warehouse services.

Thanks to the launch of the campaign «A Handful of Good» we purchased a SONOCA ultrasonic dissector for the neurosurgery department 300 (detailed text about all project participants https://www.facebook.com/PchelkaElena/posts/1677198295682779).

We then continued, including collecting bottle caps, to purchase a motherboard for the Easysta gas analyzer for the cardiovascular surgery department of the Odessa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.

We are currently raising funds for the purchase of a modern electrosurgical argon coagulator "BOWA" with modes: surgery + GASTRO + Argon, which is necessary for performing bloodless endoscopic interventions (without external incisions) on organs Gastrointestinal tract, respiratory organs, etc. for the endoscopy department of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital: more details on the foundation's website https://www.pchelka.ua/hospital/argonovyy-koagulyator-atom-

And please don't be offended if anyone is left unmarked. A very large team of people is participating in the project!
