Charitable Foundation «Little Bee» and entertainment and educational magazine «Little Bee» invite you to support the charity campaign «A Handful of Kindness», which started 25 March 2017 of the year. We are confident that only through joint efforts can we fight serious diseases and save children's lives!

We all of us buy water, milk, juice, and other various products that have plastic lids almost every day. And  what do we with them next? We throw them away. and not we think these little plastic caps could be used for a great good cause!

With our joint efforts, we will be able to fulfill the dream of Odessa pediatric neurosurgeons and purchase a Sonoca ultrasound scalpel 300. The equipment, costing 64401,16€ allows for the most radical removal of pathological structures and tumors without damaging healthy brain tissue and vessels, which in future affects the patient's good quality of life.

This seemingly frightening figure is equal to only 12 000 000 plastic caps. Considering the population of Odessa and the region, that's 10 caps per person, and by joining forces, we can do more!!!

Good experience with caps We adopt from the Spaniards. (Thanks to Sergey Kravets for detailed information!) In Spain, in practically every home, in the kitchen there is a vase with plastic lids of all colors and sizes, and in supermarkets, sports clubs, town halls, and etc. Boxes where people dump their bottle caps. Next to the boxes stood a photograph of a seven-year-old girl. It turned out that this girl needed heart surgery, which is only performed in Germany for amount 90 thousand euros. The little girl's parents appealed on television for help, and one of the plastic recycling companies offered this amount for 200 tons plastic bottle caps. The required amount of food-grade plastic was collected over several months. And the experience has taken hold.

The campaign «A Handful of Kindness» is being held jointly with the Department of Education and Science of the Odessa City Council and GOBR «Independent Parents' Meeting».

How you can help:

Collect bottle caps At your home, at work, college, school, and be sure to tell your friends and «friends and acquaintances about our» action. Only together can we  achieve results!
Place our boxes in your area so everyone can contribute to the collection our «kind» caps.
If a large number of participants join our campaign, then we will very quickly achieve the most positive results!
