In August 2021 my three-year-old son David, the third of my four children, was diagnosed with a tumor with malignant features in the pons  of his brain. I was told the tumor was inoperable, and they couldn't give me any guarantees for my son's recovery.

But we disagreed with this conclusion and found the Turkish clinic Medical Park in Antalya, where Professor Dr. Hasan Ozgur Ozdemir agreed to operate on my son. Due to the location, the operation is considered one of the most complex in the field of neurosurgery, and the risks were enormous, but we decided to go ahead with it, praying profusely, and believing.

In early September last year, David underwent two surgeries three days apart, resulting in the removal of about 80% the tumors, which in our case – was already a miraculous result. David navigated the complex postoperative recovery process well, relearning simple skills.

Later, we were offered radiation and chemotherapy to remove the remaining tumor.  We completed a month-and-a-half course, with a total of 30 sessions. During the radiation therapy, some deterioration in Davushka's condition was observed, but, as a result, a month and a half after completing the radiation therapy, his condition is very good. He truly surprised many, including the Turkish doctors themselves, who had also given a disappointing prognosis.

The date for the follow-up MRI and other examinations is approaching, and we  need to fly to Antalya again to learn the definitive results of the treatment. We were billed 2000 dollars, plus accommodation and other expenses abroad.

Our large family doesn't have this amount in our budget. Therefore, we are once again asking for help from caring people in raising funds.

The costs for the surgeries and treatment were many times higher than the current bill, but thanks to kind people, we raised the funds. Therefore, we hope that this time, too,  the kindness of people who, like us, believe that Davushka has a long, happy life ahead of her, will help us quickly cover the amount  and put an end to our treatment and illness.

We express our deepest gratitude to all those who care!

Sincerely, David's parents.
