This morning (21.01.2024), at 8 Pavlik died. Thank you so much for helping us for so many years, for doing so much for Pavlik. Today marks exactly 10 years since the Tishkov family's life was divided into "Before" and "After". Exactly 10 years ago, 1 April 2011 , five deranged thugs brutally beat their son Pavel. The twenty-three-year-old, who had his own plans for life, was nearly killed just a block from his home. Pavel's life was saved by a police major who was returning home from work and literally grabbed the arm of the drunken bastard who was jumping all over Pavel. Seeing the resistance and the arrival of help, the thugs scattered.

Good afternoon!
Thank you so much for your help with Pavlik's treatment and for your attention to our family.
Thanks to your help and support, along with the help of friends, we were able to pay for treatment at the rehabilitation center "Vremena Goda"in Yalta, where we spent two months of intensive rehabilitation. Six days a week, eight hours a day, Pavlik was actively engaged in treatment and recovery. 19 We returned from treatment in August with good results. We've been making sounds very well, we've gotten stronger, and we've overcome a kidney problem we had. During Motomed sessions, Pavlik is already starting to exert force on the pedals, when turning them forward and backward, which wasn't the case before. He's started walking better on a gait simulator and is doing much better. We've achieved good results in sessions with a speech therapist. Pavlik's sounds have improved and he's started chewing. He's holding his head up better, reacting more quickly, and answering questions.
Two months of active rehabilitation have gone very well and productively, with good results.
Thank you so much!!!!

We continue rehabilitation at home. We focus on his physical condition and speech development. Every day, Pavlik does physical therapy, massage, and standing exercises. We managed to raise funds for rehabilitation at the center " Seasons"for 45 days.
We continue to raise funds for rehabilitation so that we can devote more time to full-fledged rehabilitation.
Thank you all so much for your help and understanding!!!! Sincerely, the Tishkov family."

"We'd like to share some news about Pavel's health and our, albeit limited, progress in his treatment. Pavlik had a very serious kidney problem in the fall. – A stone blocked a duct, and he spent a week in the intensive care unit of the clinic. "Into-Sana"But, thank God, we pulled through. We've been actively treating his kidneys for six months. Pavlik drinks herbal tea every day, alternating between Canephron and Phytolyte. The neurologist prescribed Igloil and Gidazepam for agitation. He occasionally has bouts of kidney stones. Unfortunately, this is now our constant companion, but Pavlik is much better, and the bouts are less frequent.
In November, we completed a course of treatment with Armodin and Actovigin. In April, we began a course of massage and exercise therapy. We alternate classic relaxing massage with acupressure and therapeutic exercise. We try to keep Pavlik actively engaged throughout the day, except for rest periods.
The exercise therapy instructor is very pleased with our son. Pavlik has gained weight, his muscle mass has increased, and they have a very good emotional connection. During all treatments and sessions, we actively talk to him, joke, and communicate, which helps Pavlik relax and develop better. All treatments are producing good results; his reactions have become faster and more vivid. During sessions, Pavlik at the request of relaxes or tenses certain muscles, which he didn't do before. He follows his movements well with his eyes and turns his head to look at everyone who enters his room. A new achievement for our son – is that he's started making more sounds. We're now even better at recognizing when he's upset or calling out, which we're incredibly happy about.
Pavlik really needs a full rehabilitation course at a specialized center for such patients. Unfortunately, we don't have such centers in Ukraine, and treatment abroad is very expensive. But We're not losing heart and are doing everything we can to achieve this. We're confident that we'll succeed and Pavlik will recover.
Thank you all so much for your help and understanding. We wish you all the best and joy!" The Tishkov family.

"16 In August, Pavlik returned from a rehabilitation center in Yalta. Before leaving, he suffered a severe attack of renal colic. Due to a lack of funds in the account, this happened just before departure, and additional diagnostic tests were not performed. We stayed a few days to relieve the pain and make it home relatively safely. We were very upset by Pavlik's condition; he had lost a lot of weight and looked tired and exhausted. We spent the entire month undergoing examinations, performing all the necessary tests, including an ultrasound of his kidneys and internal organs, an electrocardiogram, and blood and urine tests. The tests yielded negative results: protein in the urine, elevated sugar levels, and a white blood cell count. A renal ultrasound revealed that Pavlik has nephroptosis of the right kidney (grade 2-3 ), uric acid diathesis, kidney stones ranging from 6 to 1,2 mm, and a significant amount of sand. An electrocardiogram shows bradycardia and potassium deficiency. We are currently actively pursuing treatment, completing a course of antibiotics, Furamag, Kanefron, antispasmodics, and painkillers. Home rehabilitation is currently very gentle; we are afraid of further attacks. Prolapse of the right kidney (5 cm) is a contraindication to verticalization, but we are monitoring Pavlik's condition and will eventually verticalize, albeit briefly. We have excluded strength training exercises for the lumbar region and abdominal muscles during treatment to avoid triggering pain attacks. Light massage, gymnastics, and trying to sit more are all we can do for now. We hope that everything will improve and we will re-engage in the recovery process with renewed vigor. Pavlik is a strong guy. The homely atmosphere and nutrition have a positive effect on his well-being; he has significantly improved and gained weight. We are confident that with our faith in a positive outcome, our desire to achieve it, and with God's help, we will find a way out of this situation. We will keep you updated on the progress of the treatment and Pavlik's condition.
Thank you all so much."

"Good afternoon!
We continue our treatment at home. Every day in the morning we do physiotherapy exercises, then 1-1,5 stand-up exercises. Speech therapy sessions 3-4 once a week for 1 an hour. We are working on developing spontaneous pronunciation of sounds at the speech therapist's request, and we also perform speech therapy massage to stimulate the facial and tongue muscles. We have completed two courses "TOMATIS"(sensorineural brain stimulation) of 3 one week each, with a month interval. We are very pleased with this method. We have seen an increase in Pavlik's reactions; he expresses emotions vividly. He can give a positive or negative response with his head movements. He has become very angry if he doesn't like something. But when he laughs, he laughs heartily.
We would like to point out that Pavlik, despite everything, is a very positive person. He always smiles and is happy to see everyone. Sometimes he gets sad, of course, but we try to distract him and encourage him to look forward.
We are currently preparing for a trip to the rehabilitation center "Vremena Goda". We were there for treatment last year and were very pleased with the treatment methods and the results. This year, we expect a breakthrough in treatment and rehabilitation.
Our family expresses deep gratitude for the help provided and the opportunity to undergo treatment. We wish him all the best. We will soon update you on Pavlik's progress."

We are currently looking for a trip to the rehabilitation center. "Vremena Goda".
Pavlik has recently seen significant improvements in his general condition.
We hope that rehabilitation at the center "Vremena Goda" will speed up Pavlik's recovery."

"Hello!!!
It's been three months since we returned from the rehabilitation center, and we've been intensively working on rehabilitation at home. We've built a standing frame, and Pavlik can stand twice a day for 1.5- 2 hours. Pavlik is working with a very good speech therapist from the Odessa Speech Development Center, which specializes in working with patients with speech impairments. We do gymnastics, physical therapy, and massage every day. Pavlik's head control has improved significantly, he can now make sounds, his physical condition has improved, and his joint contractures have decreased. We are moving, small but confident, toward our goal of recovery and returning to a full life."
Sincerely,
Sergey Tishkov

"Pavlik has been undergoing treatment at the rehabilitation center for two months now.
The schedule of specialist sessions has not changed; an occupational therapist has been added. Pavlik is working intensively with the speech therapist; recently, he has begun whispering sounds and blowing soap bubbles, which is significant progress. The doctor taught Pavlik to close his eyes twice in a row as a sign of denial. Now it's easier for the doctor to understand Pavlik.
Now, during pool classes, the instructor works with Pavlik alone, without the help of a second instructor. Pavlik has been taught to hold onto the pool handrails, and he can hold himself upright.
Pavlik has been comfortably standing upright on a standing frame for a long time now. He continues to exercise on a motomed (bicycle) and a walking simulator. He can hold his head up much longer.
He works hard and actively participates in all classes and procedures.
He still has a month of rehabilitation ahead of him, and we are hoping for positive progress and new successes."
Sincerely,
Sergey Tishkov

"5 In July, we safely arrived at the rehabilitation center "Vremena Goda" in Yalta. We began treatment on 6 July. The center is small but very cozy, with excellent staff and highly qualified doctors. The rehabilitation program is tailored to each patient, taking into account the severity and time elapsed since the injury.
The first week, the program was gentle, allowing for adaptation. Currently, rehabilitation takes six hours a day, six days a week. The rehabilitation program includes mud packs, speech therapy (every day 1 hour), exercise therapy and massage morning and evening, electrical stimulation of the upper and lower extremities, standing, dry immersion, and a swimming pool. During the day at the center, Pavlik eats five meals a day, high-calorie meals given the high energy expenditure of rehabilitation. All patients are weighed upon admission; Pavlik weighs 70 kg. Sunday is the day off. In the morning, all patients who wish to do so are taken on a specialized bus with a lift for a walk to the sea.
After two weeks of rehabilitation, all the center's specialists have noted good progress in Pavlik's treatment, especially the speech therapist. A good personal rapport has been established, and Pavlik has begun to pronounce sounds.
We are grateful to everyone who helped us and made it possible for Pavlik to go for treatment."

On the way to the rehabilitation center, Pavlik became ill. We had to return to Odessa. He is now in intensive care.
20.05.2015
Good news! The clinic bill has been fully paid by friends and classmates of Pavel's father, Sergey. Since Pavel is unable to move independently, The charity "Little Bee" will pay for his travel from Odessa to Yalta by ambulance, accompanied by a team of doctors.
21.04.2015
Pavel needs to undergo a neurorehabilitation program at the "Vremena Goda Clinic"in Yalta. It costs 1 612 392 rubles. A previous rehabilitation course in Moscow, as well as daily exercises at home with his family, yielded very good results. Now there's a chance to improve Pasha's condition. His parents thank everyone who is helping their son recover!
16.04.2015
It's been 5 months since his treatment at the Moscow Rehabilitation Center. Pasha is currently undergoing rehabilitation at home. A speech therapist visits him twice a week, a physical therapist works with him every other day, and the rest of the days, his parents massage him and do joint exercises to prevent contractures. Twice a day, he's seated in a chair, watching TV, and his parents read to him. Pavel responds very well to jokes, and his family tries to encourage him to laugh more. He's started holding his head up well, and Pavlik's overall health has improved significantly.
Thank you all so much for your help!!!

1On April 1, Pavlik, accompanied by his mother, flew to Russia to the rehabilitation center «Three Sisters» in the Moscow region. The center is located in a clean, wooded area. Pavlusha has currently begun an intensive rehabilitation program to restore the functions lost as a result of his injuries. Motor rehabilitation — is one of the center's main focuses. Pavlik is treated by a team of specialists, including a physician — a rehabilitation specialist, a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, a speech therapist, and a neuropsychologist. Pavlik has actively begun the recovery process; his entire day is scheduled by the hour — massage, acupuncture, speech therapy sessions, exercise therapy, a swimming pool, and standing exercises.

Thanks to the help of all of you, friends, family, and simply kind and compassionate people, caring and compassionate, who gave our son a chance to recover and who have done everything possible to return him to a full life, Pavlik is undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation center. «Three Sisters». The rehabilitation process after such a severe injury is very long, but Pavlusha is already showing positive results: he can sit in a wheelchair and is starting to hold his head up. Six days a week, six hours a day of intensive treatment and rehabilitation.
21.05.2014
Pavlushka works from morning until evening. He has shown many positive results. He is starting to hold his head up, his arms are light, and he can sit in a chair for quite a long time. The speech therapist also praises him; he reads well and is already trying to respond. He's started making sounds, and we're trying to teach him to respond, «yes» and «no». He can't speak yet, but he's gotten used to responding with his eyes. His hands are also starting to work better; he can't pick up objects himself yet, but he can hold them. His right hand is starting to work, and it's regaining tone. Everyone is noticing a significant improvement. Unfortunately, there's a long gap after the surgery; they say he should have come earlier, and everything would have been much faster. All of their patients here show very good results. Pavlushka is working very hard. Thank you very much, we are very grateful.
A huge thank you to everyone who is helping Pavel's family. Thanks to your contributions from February 2014 to March 2021the charity fund raised 399 904,59 UAH for Pavel and provided assistance totaling 921 025,00 UAH. In June 2021 a three-month rehabilitation was paid for, costing 75 000,00 UAH. In 2022 and 2023 amount of assistance was provided 22 000,00 UAH. (diapers and disposable nappies were purchased).
