15 In February, Andrey Snyatkov's mother contacted the fund for help for her son: Hello! My name is Elena, I'm «Little Bee»

28 years old, I'm from Odessa, and I work as a nurse at the city hospital. I graduated with a degree in obstetrics. I love children. I have a wonderful son, Andrey Snyatkov, whom I raise alone. Andrey was born 24 on November 1999 .

He was a completely healthy child and never was sick, with the except for occasional colds and acute respiratory infections. Andrey practiced Thai boxing. Everything was fine until trouble struck. Andrey began complaining of pain in the chest area, legs, and weakness. I immediately contacted my local doctor.

They did a complete blood count, but the elevated lymphocytes were concerning. The doctor said we needed to wait a week and take the test again. Andrey was getting worse and, without waiting for that period, we took the test again.

By then, the lymphocytes were already 90 much higher than normal. We were referred to the oncohematology department of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital for a consultation. And there, after conducting all the necessary examinations, they diagnosed — acute lymphoblastic leukemia. So 13 October 2011 my life was divided into «Before» and «After».

I didn't believe in this terrible diagnosis until the last one! But when confirmation came from Kyiv, I had to resign myself to it. My thoughts about where I could get the money for expensive medications to cure my beloved child were endlessly swirling in my head. I receive a salary of 1200,00 hryvnias per month, and I needed to buy medications worth 3 thousands of hryvnias at once, plus antibiotics and another 200 hryvnias and every day for 2 weeks. It's really hard to wake up every day with the thought of money for treatment.

We have already completed the first treatment protocol, and the child's condition has improved. We still need 2 protocols. For the second protocol, we need 8 thousands of hryvnias and where to get them I no longer know.

I would be grateful for any help! And Thank you so much in advance!
