Maximka was born 10 November 2017. We were very happy when he came into this world. But on the second day of Max's life, in the maternity hospital, the pediatrician on duty heard a murmur in his heart during an examination and sent us for an  ultrasound. There, we and heard the terrible diagnosis. From the maternity hospital, we were referred to the cardiac surgery department of the Odessa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, where the diagnosis of — ventricular septal defect with pulmonary hypertension 1 st. The doctors said Maxim needed surgery! We were sent home to gain weight at least to 5 kg (Maxim was born weighing  2980 g. But when we arrived for a routine ultrasound, the examination revealed that my son's heart condition had worsened. They decided to perform the surgery as soon as possible as possible, as the strain on the heart was increasing. The child was experiencing shortness of breath, and any cold could have serious consequences.

Doctors guarantee his chances of life, but unfortunately we don't have the funds for  a heart-lung machine — an oxygenator, so we are turning to all caring people!
