Hello, my name is Marina Malinovskaya, and I am the mother of a wonderful boy, Denis Malinovsky. He is now 14 years old. In 2015 my son was diagnosed with ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA, and our life was turned upside down. Over the past two and a half years, Denis has endured a great deal: BMT, daily procedures, medications, and sometimes unbearable pain, isolation from friends and family. Not every adult can even imagine this! 12 August 2016 Denis underwent BMT in Turkey, and the results were initially good. But six months later, things began to worsen. — Bone and tissue necrosis developed in his lower leg, and he stopped walking. Necrosis then developed in his hip joints. 10 March 2018 Denis was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital in serious condition. Doctors diagnosed GVHD (graft-versus-host disease ''). After consultations with our and Turkish doctors, it became necessary to fly to a Turkish clinic for treatment. Photophoresis is needed to treat GVHD. Photophoresis is not performed in Ukraine. Currently, to begin this procedure, you need'' 6500$. It's very difficult to realize that in our country, a child's life is valuable! And it's even harder when the family doesn't have that kind of money and has nothing left to sell! I can't watch my son suffer and not be able to help him! Denis — is a grown boy; he understands everything, and that makes it even harder. It's hard to see him withdraw, cry, and worry. But we must fight (even if we're exhausted, if our hearts are weak, if our throats are full of tears), we must do EVERYTHING — so that our child can have a bright future, a future full of health, joy, and hope!!! And today, Denis hopes, knows, and believes that kind, caring people will give him a chance at a healthy life, because his cherished dream is just around the corner!!! Denis really wants to live!!!

Meet — This is Denis Malinovsky. In February, he turned 12 years old.
Denis's full diagnosis is — Acute lymphoblastic leukemia. High-risk group. The treatment usually given to children with this diagnosis was not suitable for Denis. After the first round of chemotherapy, the boy's condition deteriorated sharply and he was admitted to intensive care. The doctors' hands, the family's prayers, and the child gradually reached a stable condition. He continued treatment. He did not achieve remission for a long time.
