Dear friends, acquaintances, and simply caring people!

My 16 year-old daughter Elena was diagnosed with an atrial septal defect. She requires surgery, as irreversible damage could occur. The cost of an occluder to help the heart function normally is 105 thousand hryvnias, plus the cost of the surgery. When our daughter was diagnosed at the Amosov Clinic – it was like a bolt from the blue.

We lived a measured life, raising three children. We helped the older children get an education. Lenochka — is the third child in the family. She is in 11 grade. She dreams of going to university and is thoroughly preparing for the External Independent Assessment (EIA).

Every child deserves a chance at a full life! A child with special needs can be born into any family, regardless of social status, status, financial resources, or education. We live in a small provincial town. Unfortunately, salaries here are low. Compared to the minimum wage, this amount is enormous for us.

I want to appeal to all my friends, relatives, and simply caring people: please help save this child's life!
