On 3 April 2013 Vitalyk passed away. It was very sudden and painful news. There had already been hopes of recovery! Thank you to everyone who helped this boy! We shall always remember Vitalyk's kind smile! He will stay in our hearts for ever!

Vitalik is undergoing his first round of chemotherapy. The first round of treatment caused severe complications: kidney and lung problems. His condition was extremely serious; he was on IV drips for over a month. The treatments he was prescribed caused side effects. Now Vitalik is smiling a little, can sit up in bed, and is learning to walk again. His parents are doing special exercises and massages with him.
We sincerely hope that his young body will overcome all the difficulties and that the worst is behind him. It couldn't be any other way, because he still needs to undergo two more chemotherapy cycles.
