Zhenya was born on 28.02.2012 the year, with a weight 3.580 and a height 52 cm. Unfortunately, already in the first minutes of the boy's life, doctors diagnosed him with an esophageal reflex. The child was taken to the intensive care unit and three days later. The doctor attempted to connect the esophagus to the stomach so the baby could eat orally, but unfortunately, he was unable  to do so. A gastrostomy tube was removed from the stomach, through which he eats. After this surgery, the child was in serious condition. On the tenth day of the boy's life, doctors made another diagnosis: Critical coarctation of the aorta due to pulmonary edema with severe cardiovascular failure. The child underwent surgery, including an aortic repair. He spent two months in the intensive care unit. There, Zhenya contracted meningococcal infection ( (meningitis), from which he barely recovered. After all this ordeal, Zhenya and his mother were discharged home. At home, the boy grew and developed normally. When he was one year and three months old, he was referred to the clinic «Okhmatdet» in Kyiv for surgery. There, the boy was examined, and the doctor hesitated for a long time to perform the operation, but he finally decided. The operation was successful, and the child was transferred to the intensive care unit. On the second day after the operation, the baby suffered cardiac arrest, after which he developed cerebral hypertrophy. He stopped responding to sounds, sitting, walking, and breathing on his own. Another surgery was urgently needed. The child had been suffering from heartburn for a long time due to increased acidity in his stomach. Twenty days after the surgery, Zhenya had an esophageal valve inserted, which yielded positive results. A month later, he underwent another surgery and a tracheostomy tube was inserted. Since the child has been on a ventilator. Zhenya now needs additional treatment, and in further another expensive surgery on his heart. The boy's parents' funds have already run out, and now they cannot cope without our help!
