Over two years, we endured an incredible number of chemotherapy rounds, radiation therapy, surgery, and recovery, but, with God's help, we survived it all.
And just when it seemed like it was all over, that God had shown mercy and our suffering had come to an end, — there was a relapse with metastases in the spine. I don't want to speculate about what this is for us, I don't want to whine about how hard it is… I believe in that we and can handle this, I believe in the power of God, I believe in miracles, and most The main thing is — I believe in my son, in his strength of spirit and in that he will not leave me…
We have another battle ahead of us with this damned disease, in which we must emerge victorious. But, as we know, one in the field is no warrior… I really hope for help from caring people who won't abandon us in our dire situation. We spend enormous sums on medications. Even with all my desire, I can't manage it all. I would be very grateful for any help in the fight for my child's life. I believe in that human kindness is boundless, that its power is capable of miracles.
Zhenya has been ill since October 2014 . Diagnosis: alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma of the left maxillary sinus. High-risk group. He was examined at the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.
At today, the boy underwent 9 chemotherapy courses, 22 radiation therapy sessions, and surgery in Kyiv. Zhenya endured all the tests like a grown man.
Now he needs to undergo final maintenance chemotherapy, and this requires an expensive drug «Vinorelbine» 18 vials of 50 ml. Each vial costs approximately 3000 hryvnia.
