Andrey grew up a healthy child. At 7 age, he began playing football at Chernomorets Youth Sports School «Chernomorets». He was team captain and earned many certificates, awards, and cups. He entered Polytechnic University on a budget-funded education.

Andrey was injured in 2015 while playing football. In the summer of 2016 the boy began to feel unwell, began losing weight, and lost his appetite.

After numerous examinations — ultrasound, chest X-ray, and other tests, doctors discovered metastases in the liver and the lungs. Andrei underwent an examination at an Israeli clinic, after which doctors said it would be a few more days  — and too late to begin treatment. The boy completed a course of chemotherapy and underwent surgery.  4

Following an examination in December 2016 Andrei was found to have remnants of secondary lesions in  the left side of his liver and the right side of his lung. 

The boy's parents contacted the Kyiv clinic «Onkomed». There, doctors examined Andrey and prescribed another 2 course of chemotherapy to destroy most of the lesions.

Andrey will undergo further examination, after which the doctors will decide on surgery. The required amount is still unknown.
