15 December 2014 we learned that Ira has had a relapse. Ira is expected to undergo ten rounds of chemotherapy. Since the relapse is late, there is every chance that the disease will subside after chemotherapy. The girl currently needs help with her current treatment, as the department does not have the necessary medications.

«2 March 2012 The girl was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Expensive treatment has begun. She requires approximately 4000 UAH monthly. The girl is weakened, and her body is having a hard time coping with the chemotherapy. Her blood tests are very poor, and she periodically experiences a high fever. The main treatment has to be stopped. We're putting her on IVs with very expensive medications. We have to borrow money for this. My daughter is now in the hematology department of the regional children's hospital. her mental state has changed; she's become withdrawn, moody, and uncommunicative. A huge thank you to everyone who helped Ira overcome her illness. Ira is finishing maintenance chemotherapy with "Lanvis". She will be taking this medication until the New Year. She has enough medication for the full course.

Ira has successfully completed all 10 chemotherapy cycles. She now needs help with her ongoing anti-relapse treatment with: "Methotrexate" in the amount of 312 ampoules, the cost of one ampoule is 100 UAH. and "Lanvis", in the amount of 44 vials, the minimum cost is 1 a bottle 4500 UAH. The cost of treatment for 24 month is 230 100 UAH. These medications are not available in the department where Irina is being treated.

Ira completed her primary treatment in the Pediatric Oncohematology Department of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. She was prescribed further treatment for 2 year with Methotrexate and Lanvis, in the amount of 44 a bottle. The minimum cost of one bottle is 4500 UAH. Approximately, per month, 8 250 UAH. The family cannot afford such expenses on their own. Let's help Irochka get better together!

On Tuesday, Ira started her third round of chemotherapy. They've been administering the IV 6 for 24 hours non-stop. Ira's mood is still good, she reads books, sleeps a lot, but she's lost her appetite.

It turned out to be much more serious than we initially thought! The diagnosis was confirmed: acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Late combined (CNS + B/M) relapse. She needs to undergo not SIX, but TEN courses of chemotherapy.
Ira is very confident that she will soon recover and that everything will be fine, but she doesn't know that the treatment is not just expensive, but incredibly expensive, and that it's simply impossible to complete without the help of caring people...

For 2 years in a row, she, along with other child winners, has participated in the charity concert «Give Good» to say thank you to everyone who supported her , and also herself to support those who are still fighting disease!

Irina is currently undergoing 2 protocol 1 part. She takes hormones to maintain proper blood counts. Because of them, Irina is very moody, weak, and eats poorly. We hope that she will soon regain her cheerfulness and good spirits.
