«Dima was always a cheerful and energetic child, never sitting in one place. When the pediatrician was asked about his overactivity, she always replied: „He's a normal, healthy child and shouldn't sit in one place“. He's interested in everything and little by little, his interests are constantly changing. He loved going with his dad to the dacha, helping and learning everything his dad did. Like all modern children, he loves playing computer games and riding his bike.

Dima suddenly fell ill, called from school, said he had a headache, and they sent him home. When his mother came home from work, she didn't like his condition — he still complained of double vision and a headache. The boy was urgently taken to a neurologist. There, Dima was examined and referral was given for an MRI of the head. That's where everyone found out. It was like a bolt from the blue. Mom and Dima were taken to the neurosurgery department of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, where the child underwent an urgent ventriculoperitoneostomy. Dima was in a —  semi-conscious state for almost a month. After the first round of chemotherapy, he began to come to his senses.

In Dima is currently undergoing his fourth round of chemotherapy in the oncohematology department of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. He also has to undergo surgery to remove the tumor, and in his parents are currently looking for a clinic.

And Dima is generally a great optimist. As soon as he started feeling a little better, question — „how are you?“, he tells everyone that he is doing well. Even now, in the ward, he is full of inspiration and hope that he will soon recover and go home. It will be like before, riding with Dad to the dacha and racing with his cousin on a bike.

Well and we, the parents, will try to do everything possible to cure our son and we ask all people who have a kind heart, who are not indifferent to the grief of others, to respond to our request and help save Dima's life.»
