Vika is a positive, cheerful, sociable child; she is keen on mental arithmetic and the exact sciences.
At the end of May 2018 the whole class went on a trip to Kamianets-Podilskyi. On the third day of the excursions Vika got sunstroke. From that moment she began to have constant headaches and vomiting, and her eyesight fell sharply. We went to an ophthalmologist, who referred the child for an MRI. The result of the MRI sounded to us like a sentence: a brain tumour.
Vika required urgent surgery to remove the tumor, but the surgery —is only a small part of the trials we must endure to save our beloved daughter's life. Vika is currently undergoing chemotherapy, which consists of eight blocks of four chemotherapy sessions each. And then — radiation therapy, which must be completed after the entire chemotherapy course. The entire course of treatment requires considerable funds, which are desperately needed as I am a single mother raising three children on my own. We ask caring and kind people to help save my daughter's life. She is only nine years old, and she deserves to be healthy and happy!!!
