Oleksandra Yevheniivna Cherneha was born on 30.11.2015. This little girl, the most beloved in the whole wide world, was awaited by my wife and me with great longing. As often happens, life brought us a very dangerous surprise — my wife went into premature labour. At that stage all went well and the threat to the lives of our little girl and my wife was averted. Now long weeks of recovery lay ahead. During the examinations Oleksa was diagnosed — with a heart defect (congenital ventricular septal defect). After long months spent in hospitals the little girl grew stronger and we came home together successfully. From that moment we had examinations every two months, hoping for the full recovery of her little heart, but things turned out not as well as we would have liked. At present Oleksandra is 1 year and 11 months old. Learning that surgery was unavoidable, my wife and I began preparing for it both in spirit and financially. But even with the help of our family, relatives and friends we physically cannot raise the sum needed for the operation.

Therefore, we are asking for help from all caring people to help us purchase an expensive heart-lung machine, without which the operation is impossible, since during the baby's heart will temporarily stop beating.
