SONOCA 300 — a device covering every field of surgical ultrasound use. The ultrasonic surgical unit is intended for all types of surgery, with functions of ultrasonic cutting, ultrasonic coagulation (ultrasonic scalpel), ultrasonic dissection and treatment of wound surfaces. Thanks to this, operations are performed with minimal blood loss and with minimal damage to healthy organ tissue. The regional children’s hospital does not have this equipment. It is very important to replace a scalpel that has long been out of date with gentle surgery using ultrasound!

The original price of this equipment was 64 401 euros. On 12 October 2017 we were given a very favourable offer for this equipment — 47 771.22 €. The price is valid until the end of 2017. This means we need to hurry and raise more money before the price goes up. The German foundation «Ein Herz fur Kinder» provided a letter of guarantee for 20 000 €.

So the remaining amount to be raised is 27 771.22 € at the rate of 31.00 — UAH 860 907.82.

It is not the amount that matters — what matters is action and motivation. We believe that you can help others even if your income is very modest. In a way it is even better to do it when income is modest, because then the help carries more weight. And you already know how the Universe works: as you sow, so shall you reap! The original price of the SONOCA 300 ultrasonic scalpel was 64 401 €. 
A year ago Daria Chefan, a staff member of the «Little Bee» charitable foundation, wrote a project for the German foundation «Ein Herz fur Kinder» to buy the SONOCA 300 ultrasonic dissector. We were awarded a grant of 20 000 €.

We opened a fundraiser for the SONOCA 300 ultrasonic scalpel, but not as much money was collected as was needed. Negotiations were also held with the supplier for a discount, which amounted to 17 000 €.

At the end of 2017 we turned for help to Anna Pavlova, head of charity programmes at JSC CB "PRIVATBANK", who immediately understood the problem and promptly responded to the request to pay the missing amount of UAH 950 000 on behalf of the "Dopomahaty prosto" charitable Foundation of PrivatBank.

The contribution of the "Little Bee" foundation - UAH 106524 (these funds were collected during various events and charity campaigns, from collecting bottle caps which we have already handed in and been paid for, from part of the profit from the magazine and from the contributions of caring people).
