The children’s neurosurgery department of the Odesa Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital needs to replenish its arsenal of medical instruments for neurosurgical operations and procedures. It is the only department in the Odesa region providing neurosurgical care to children. A large number of instruments have failed because of constant use and disinfection and sterilisation in aggressive environments. No money is allocated in the regional budget. Yet our children need the help of neurosurgeons around the clock. The doctors of the department have selected a set of basic instruments for their work. The best value for money proved to be instruments made by the German company REDA. High-precision, high-quality instruments are made not on a conveyor belt but by hand from high-quality «Solingen» steel. This will make operations better, with fewer complications for patients, and will let surgeons use the instruments for a long time.
