The idea for this program was brought to us by the mother of a child undergoing treatment in Israel. Project «Toy for courage» started in January 2011 of this year. 

Children undergoing treatment in the oncohematology department of the Odessa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital experience constant fear, pain, and discomfort during painful procedures. To somehow distract them from their suffering, an aquarium filled with small toys was installed in the department. After the procedure, the child is given the aquarium, and they choose their favorite toy. About 30 toys are needed daily. Per month — 900 pieces. The cost of a small, high-quality toy is 10 UAH. Accordingly, per month, 9000 UAH are needed.

 You can join the program "Toy for Courage" and bring us aquarium toys. They must be new, small, and free of small parts. IMPORTANT! We collect only new toys for our residents. This is not a whim or a mischief; it is caused by the severely weakened immune system in children undergoing cancer treatment.
