Natasha was born a normal, healthy and active child. She grew up and developed according to the age. When she was six years, she went to school and also started going in for dancing. Natasha likes walking by the sea and ride bikes. She even has a dream – she wants to buy a bike one day. After finishing the eighth year at school, in June 2013 Natasha started having pains in her shoulder and we addressed the policlinics near the place where we live. The general blood analysis showed that there were blast cells present. At once Natasha was sent to Regional Children Hospital to the hematological department where the sternal biopsy was made. The results were unfavourable as in the marrow they had found a lot of blasts. Natasha was given the diagnosis – the acute myeloblastic leukemia M2FAB-variant with Auer bacillus. Five blocks of the chemotherapy and one course of radiotherapy were prescribed to Natasha. Natasha bore the chemotherapy not easily. The analysis were very bad, there were a lot of blood and platelets transfusions. In March 2014 Natasha was sent home where she continued taking the course of supporting therapy.

In September 2014 we came to give the general blood analysis and the results showed 15% of blast cells. Next day the sterna biopsy was made that showed 25% of blasts in the marrow. That meant only one thing – Natasha had the early relapse. At once the anti-relapse chemotherapy was prescribed and this time the bone marrow transplantation will be necessary. We have already started to search for the hospital that will be able to make the operation.
